Yetreday there was a UK grandmaster playing chess in the park. What was his name, please?

It was Stuart Conquest, great guy, he played many games with almost all HPC regulars (Stuart 1min, our players 3 minutes time) and won most of them. Very enjoyable afternoon, and thank you Stuart, hope to see you again soon.

There was also a Russian grandmaster (Alex Cherniev?) playing chess there.
Stuart won the UK championship in 2008!

Was it Alex Chernin? He is from Ukraina, playing for Hungary.

it will have been Alex Chernaiev from Russia. He pops up quite often. Another rare bird who just might show up is Jim Plaskett.

Both Chernaiev and Conquest were in the park on the same day recently. Whenever Chernaiev see me he is apt to ask "Where is Brown?".
